Sorra Books

Sorra Books' goal is to diversify fiction without a Muslim lens in children's fiction, ranging from picture books to young adult novels. We want to give voice to the everyday writer whose story is more than just a trend or statement, to writers who feel like they aren't being seen because their books or characters aren't "bold enough." Books published by Sorra Books do not need to be written by a Muslim author or have an overt Muslim theme. Novels need only be "Muslim-friendly" in nature so that Muslim children and their parents can feel comfortable reading them. 

The open period for unsolicited submissions is Oct 4 - Jan 4.
