We are happy to help young or new professionals enter this industry. We are currently looking for the following:

(1) IP writer — writes intellectual property for us, with a broad range of genres to choose from.

(2) Editorial — helps to evaluate, edit, and acquire manuscripts.

Note: As a small team, all our staff will have to work in marketing in some capacity as needed.

Shaherazad Shelves is a virtual company, so interns will work from home and have flexible schedules. All positions are part-time, volunteer-based (how the team currently works), and will last six months. However, the Shaherazad Shelves team will pay for any relevant programs or subscriptions, e.g., Photoshop or Canva, for the duration of the six months. End-of-term bonuses may also be available.
